There is a lot of wind this afternoon. I do not like wind. Wind blows stuff too much especially things that are outdoors. You knew that wind blows but I think some people forget about wind until a long-planned outside activity goes awry due to heavy gusts.
Weddings often happen outdoors. My brother’s wedding was inside a Las Vegas casino but I know many ceremonies happen at the beach or on a grassy area. The lovely venue adds to the memories. Unless there is a lot of wind which can give anyone a “bad hair day.” I never needed help from the wind to have a bad hair day. I doubt you would want wedding photographs that are meant to last a lifetime to be marred by windblown hair.
Fairs and carnivals are usually held outdoors. A spring or summer weekend is picked for the event. The entire school or town is invited to participate in the festivities. Too much wind can lay havoc on the ring toss game. I have trouble winning teddy bears when the wind is calm, let alone when strong gusts are blowing my attempts off-target.
In either case, and in many other cases when outdoor photography can become tricky, consider using a photo booth. You have surely seen photo booths at your local mall. Having an indoor area to take pictures removes some variables from the photography experience. You will have more control of the surroundings with a booth. A company spokesperson said, “Capture Pod provides a unique photo booth rental with professional quality camera, lighting and printing. Capture Pod designs a photo booth that is both functional and attractive.”
You will want superior photography to help make your special events memorable. Rather than depending on favorable weather, photo booths can help ensure great pictures no matter what Mother Nature brings. Have a great weekend.
