CMF Ads to Close Oct. 30

I learned at the weekend that CMF Ads will close Oct. 30. The site is apparently not earning as much money as hoped. A blog entry posted Friday at CMF Ads has the latest information, including a timeline of events as the network ends.

I’ve mentioned often that my old blog network closed. I recall that some former writers were angry at the site. I didn’t blame them for their thoughts. I kept quiet because doing so seemed right to me.

That CMF Ads is ending is sad. It’s odd that the administration recommends Project Wonderful as an alternative. I used PW at Blogspot. I took a cashout at the weekend because I planned to stop using PW and stay with CMF Ads. I need to rethink that plan.

In the meantime, I liked advertising at CMF Ads as well as earning a few dollars which helped buy the domain, TysonChaney.com. Therefore, I’ll remain fond of CMF Ads. I hope you have a fun week.
