I have written a lot about Greece. Specifically, I have posted often about Greece’s economy. I know about Athens, the birthplace of the Olympics. I have heard about the Acryopolis and other ancient structures.
However, I recently heard about the Greek island of Zante. I know tourism is very important to Greece. A new website says it will soon be offering information about flights to Zante.
My European friends enjoy knowing about tourist destinations. Some of them travel quite a bit, either for work or for holiday. My London friends sometimes visit continental Europe.
One seems to go to Europe every week. She spends Monday through Friday in a different major city on “the continent” and returns home each weekend.
I know a couple of families from Spain who are in London now for a holiday. I’ll talk to them about visiting Zante in the near future.
The good news about not hearing about Zante before writing this post is that it’s likely a safe place. It’s surely safer than the parts of Britain that suffered through riots this week.
I like to talk about trying new things and seeing what you like. At summer ends in the Northern Hemisphere, consider going somewhere new for vacation. At least get some information so you can make the best decision possible. I hope you enjoy your Sunday.
